Points Program Terms & Notice of Financial Incentive
Article 1 Purpose
The purpose of these Points Program Terms (the “Terms”) is to set forth the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of GENUINENESS INC. (the “Company”) and its members in connection with the use of the global point service provided by the Company (the “Service”).
Article 2 Definitions

The term “Online Mall(s)” collectively refers to the following e-commerce websites:
- (a) The official POINTTWOFIVE·SECOND online mall operated by GENUINENESS INC. (https://025s.co.kr);
- (b) The official POINTTWOFIVE·SECOND online mall operated by GENUINENESS INC. (https://pointtwofivesecond.com);
- (c) The official POINTTWOFIVE·SECOND online mall operated by GENUINENESS JAPAN INC. (https://025s.jp).;

The term “Direct Store(s)” collectively refers to the following offline retail locations:
- (a) The POINTTWOFIVE·SECOND store operated by GENUINENESS INC. (71, Yunboseon-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea, 20, Wangsimni-ro 14-gil, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea);
- (b) The POINTTWOFIVE·SECOND store operated by GENUINENESS JAPAN INC. (2F, 5-16-13 Jingumae, Shibuya, Tokyo 150-0001, Japan).;

The term “Member” means an individual who has completed membership registration for the Online Mall and, upon agreeing to these Terms, has acquired eligibility to use the Service.

The term “Service” means the point-related services provided by the Company to Members who have agreed to these Terms, including the accrual, use, and management of points.

The term “Point(s)” means a payment method granted free of charge by the Company to Members, which may be used in the same manner as cash when purchasing products through the Online Malls or Direct Stores.
Article 3 Earning Points
- Accrual:Points may be granted when a member purchases certain products or participates in events.
- Rates/Conditions:Accrual rates, conditions, and eligible products may vary by country and will be announced in advance via Online Mall notices, product pages, or the operating policy.
- Nature of Points:Points are provided free of charge, are not redeemable for cash, and may not be sold, transferred, or pledged.
Article 4 Using Points
- Scope:Points may be used toward purchases on the Online Mall or at the Direct Store.
- Conversion Basis:1 point accrued through the Korean Online Malls or Direct Stores is valued at KRW 1, through the Japanese Online Malls or Direct Stores at JPY 1, and through the Global Online Mall at USD 1.
- Channel Rules:Minimum units and other channel-specific limits for Direct Store use follow each Direct Store notices.
Article 5 Expiration
- Validity:Points are valid for 1 year from the grant date and expire automatically thereafter.
- Consumption Order:FIFO (first-in, first-out): points nearing expiration are used first.
- No Compensation:Unused/expired points are not compensable.
- Expiry Notice:Expiry reminders may be sent via SMS/email; the Company is not responsible for loss due to lack of consent or delivery failure.
- Termination/Discontinuation:Upon account deletion or discontinuation of the program, remaining points expire immediately and are not refundable.
Article 6 Membership Tiers
- Lookback Window:Members are assigned a membership tier based on the number of products purchased within the previous six months, with assessments made on January 20 for the first half of the year and July 20 for the second half of the year.
- Class 1:If 3 or more items were purchased within the past 6 months, 2% of the purchase amount is credited as points.
Article 7 No Aggregation/Transfer
Points may not be aggregated or transferred among members.
Article 8 Program Discontinuation
The Company may discontinue all or part of the program; notice will be posted online.
Article 9 Service Territory
The program is offered in multiple countries/regions; the list may change. Detailed terms may vary by local regulations.
Article 10 Personal Data Consent
- For Direct Store use, personal data (e.g., name, email) may be requested for member verification; such data is processed only for identification, accrual, redemption, and reconciliation.
- Processing for the points program is separate from marketing opt-in. Marketing communications are optional, and core program functions are available regardless of marketing consent.
- Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Article 11 Liability
- The Company is liable only for direct damages related to the program and not for indirect damages.
- This limitation does not apply in cases of the Company’s willful misconduct or gross negligence.
Article 12 Changes to the Terms
- The Company may amend these Terms. In such cases, the Company will provide notice of the amended provisions, the effective date, and the reasons for the amendment on the initial service screen of the Online Mall, together with the current Terms, at least 7 days prior to the effective date.
- Adverse changes will be announced 30 days prior with a summary of key changes. Continued use after posting constitutes consent to the amended Terms.
- If, when providing notice of the amended Terms pursuant to the preceding paragraph, the Company clearly informs the Member that failure to express an intention within 30 days will be deemed as consent, and the Member does not expressly indicate refusal, the Member shall be deemed to have agreed to the amended Terms.
Article 13 Miscellaneous
- Points are a free benefit and are not refundable.
- Details regarding point transfers and international use may be changed per the operating policy.
Article 14 Adjustments & Reversals
- Points are automatically adjusted (recovered/restored) upon returns, cancellations, or partial refunds.
- In case of errors, misuse, or fraud (e.g., unauthorized payments, multiple accounts, system abuse), the Company may hold, adjust, or forfeit points and restrict account access.
- The timing of adjustments shall be based on the date on which the relevant return, cancellation, or partial refund is completed, and the details shall follow the operating policy.
Article 15 Opt-out & Non-Discrimination
- Members may request to opt out of the points program at any time.
- How to opt out: submit a request via Customer Service (email/chat/phone) or My Page > Inquiry. We process requests within 3 business days and notify you by email upon completion.
- After opt-out, accrual/use stops and unused points may expire per policy.
- Opting out does not restrict access to core services such as purchasing.
- Members may request re-enrollment at any time via Customer Service or My Page > Inquiry.
Article 16 California Notice of Financial Incentive
- For California residents, the points benefits may constitute a financial incentive under the CCPA/CPRA.
- Participation is voluntary (opt-in) and may be withdrawn (opt-out) at any time.

Article 17 Exclusions
Point accrual and use may be excluded for gift card payments, certain limited-edition or promotional products, shipping fees and taxes, and partner services. The exclusion list can be found in the Online Mall notices.
Article 18 Inactive Accounts
Accounts with no login to the Online Mall for 12 months may be marked inactive; accrual/use may be restricted during inactivity. Reactivation follows the operating policy.
Article 19 Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the law of the Online Mall’s operating jurisdiction. Disputes shall be subject to the court at the Company’s principal place of business as the court of first instance.
